I am extremely pleased and proud to announce the inaugural Certified Business Relationship Manager® (CBRM®) course! This first-of-its-kind event will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA from May 23-26, 2016.
I have been lead developer of the CBRM® training and exams, an effort that will have taken over a year of intense effort by myself and a small team of dedicated volunteers. This premiere course is a unique opportunity to be among the world’s first CBRM® graduates!
The CBRM® Practitioner Qualification is intended for the intermediate-to-advanced Business Relationship Manager, as it focuses on advancing to the role of Strategic Business Relationship Manager. As such, the primary focus is on strategic business relationship management, leveraged to optimize business value to the enterprise.
The purpose of the Practitioner qualification is to confirm whether the candidate has achieved sufficient understanding and competence to perform the role of Strategic Business Relationship Manager.
To pursue the CBRM® certification, a candidate must be a certified Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP®).
The inaugural CBRM® course will run from May 23-26, 2016 and be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta – Roswell. A block of rooms has been reserved for attendees at a discounted price and transportation to/from the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport will be provided.
The course will run from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day. Breakfast and lunch will be included each day, and there will be a class dinner and networking event at a fine French restaurant on the evening of May 24th.
A CBRM® sample exam will be taken during the course. The official CBRM® exam can be taken by course graduates within one year following the course, either online via Remote Proctor U or through a paper-based exam at an APMG-approved facility.
The course fee is $3,200.00 USD and includes all course materials, a Certificate of Completion and the final exam and certification. Additional registrants from the same company will receive a 15% discount on the course fee. The course is strictly limited to 15 participants, allocated on a first come, first served basis.
